Dan Everett spent many years in the Amazon jungle trying to convert the remote tribe of the Pirahã to Christianity, and to learn their language in order to translate the Bible for their use. He did learn their language, but his conversion efforts had an unexpected result... He shared this with the audience at the Freedom From Religion's Convention in Seattle.
